NFL Power Rankings - Week 5

Washington once again allows a previously unbeaten team to gain its first victory.  In fact, of their five opponents this season, four of them didn't have a win when they faced the Redskins.  This doesn't look for them, and their power ranking reflects that.

The top of the rankings remain stable, showing that the strongest teams are retaining that power.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) [15]
11. Cincinnati Bengals (4-1) [13] - Yikes!  Three AFC North teams in a row!  This is a tough division!
12. Dallas Cowboys (3-2) [12] - Romo may be looking raw, but the team keeps rolling along
13. New York Jets (3-2) [10] - Sanchez's bubble finally burst!  Let's see how he handles adversity
14. New England Patriots (3-2) [9] - Whoops, they should have beaten Denver in regulation!
15. San Francisco 49ers (3-2) [5] - The defense faltered
16. Seattle Seahawks (2-3) [23] - Their incredible shutout of Jacksonville makes this team the best team with a losing record

17. Green Bay Packers (2-2) [17]
18. Houston Texans (2-3) [21] - Best team with a losing record, they keep it close
19. Arizona Cardinals (2-2) [20]
20. Miami Dolphins (2-3) [22]
21. San Diego Chargers (2-2) [19]
22. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-3) [16] - What happened against Seattle?
23. Buffalo Bills (1-4) [25]
24. Cleveland Browns (2-3) [31] - Hmm, a game with no touchdowns is the only type Cleveland can win
25. Tennessee Titans (0-5) [26] - They HAVE to win one soon!
26. Washington Redskins (2-3) [18] - Attention all winless teams!  Come to Washington to get your win!
