Big Ten Report
Things went pretty much as expected, except Michigan emerged victorious from their battle with Iowa. Surprisingly, defense ruled in that game. Defense also ruled in the Wisconsin game, as they garnered their third shut-out of the season. Defense was also at play in the Northwestern - Nebraska bout.
Ohio State continues to lead everyone. Penn State seems their biggest threat in the East, although Michigan's victory over Iowa makes them a contender again. Wisconsin clearly leads in the West, but unbeaten Minnesota has emerged as a clear threat. Iowa is still in the mix.
Upset Watch
The Big XII conference was hit this week, as both Oklahoma State and TCU were shocked by conference opponents. For both teams, it cost them their Top 25 ranking. It was the second loss for each team, and UCF also suffered their second loss, boosting the status of Cincinnati. Lastly, Virginia Tech had been looking pretty pathetic this season, but their mustered a great defeat of home team Miami.
