Not as much movement on the rankings as I typically get in the second week. Must have something to do with the shortage of upsets this year.

Upset Report
We nearly had another FCS win, but Charlotte prevailed over Gardner-Webb by scoring a late touchdown. So we only ended up with three upsets. The first one was the Apple Bowl, where the Cougars mauled the Huskies. Later in the day Vanderbilt stumbled against Georgia State, and then Toledo stunned Mississippi State.
Big Ten Report
The Apple Bowl was the only upset, but some teams definitely did not perform as expected. Wisconsin collapsed against Alabama and Purdue was completely ineffective against Notre Dame. Perhaps the most surprising collapse was in Pasadena, as UCLA completely crumbled.
The UCLA debacle showcased one of the great results of the day, as Indiana was truly dominant. If that results was not mostly due to UCLA's collapse, the Hoosiers might be a force in the conference this year. Maryland bounced back nicely from their loss to Michigan State, but Oregon certainly had the most impressive game against their in-state rival.
